MODERNIZE, SIMPLIFY, PRESERVE

Proudly from the Paraíba Valley, but sold almost everywhere in Brazil (and beyond), BANANINHA PARAIBUNA®, almost 50 years old, deserved a complete packaging redesign. Our main challenge was to modernize the visual identity while preserving the brand, defining a striking pattern for the varieties and facilitating consumer navigation at the point of sale, since many consumers and customers reported difficulty in identifying some varieties at the time of purchase. The current layout elements made it difficult to apply them to different formats and increased the complexity of printing the packaging. With the redesign and the choice of more legible fonts, we not only achieved a more contemporary look but also increased the visibility of the brand by up to 20%, making it easier to differentiate and choose at the POS.
We worked on the image of the bananas to be printed in 3 colors, which combined with the simplification in the design made it possible to considerably reduce the number of colors in almost the entire packaging line.
The project was completed in 8 months, a relatively short period, taking into account the design, application of the new legislation with tables and mandatory warning labels.
